We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Benihana National Corp. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including grilled, broiled, fried, and sautéed items.
- Portion and prepare ingredients for cooking, such as tempura items, sauces, and grilled items.
- Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure presentation meets our high standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cooking, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues to ensure seamless service.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
