Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our team at Patton Trial Group, a leading insurance defense firm in California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defending personal injury claims and working closely with our clients to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze case files, drafting initial evaluations and discovery plans
  • Depose and defend party depositions, working with paralegals to obtain and review medical records
  • Maintain contact with clients, reporting on case progress and providing updates
  • Retain and consult with expert witnesses, taking and defending expert witness depositions
  • Conduct legal research and prepare trial documents, with opportunities for second chair trial experience and eventually conducting your own trials
Requirements
  • Active California State Bar license
  • Previous experience with insurance defense law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of Discovery Rules and general procedures, with effectiveness in working independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent client relations, with timely reporting and a competitive salary
