Pricing Specialist Job Description

At Airgas, we are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Specialist to support our commercial account managers in implementing and monitoring company-wide pricing guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pricing strategies and be able to analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide pricing support and profitability reporting for SA customers
Audit system pricing, tagging, and partnerships to ensure customer data is aligned with contractual pricing structure
Compile mass price review documents and supplemental reporting to execute contractual price increases for assigned portfolio of customers
Review and submit national price maintenance requests for assigned customers, providing guidance and context on pricing strategy and suggesting available options
Initiate and document customer notifications for price adjustments and force majeure events

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or combination of up to one year inside sales, customer service, or relevant Airgas/industry experience
Knowledge of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding, and safety products a plus
Relevant Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience required, with an emphasis on advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets preferred
Previous exposure to commercial contract terms and conditions preferred
Prior experience manipulating large datasets and analyzing data from multiple sources preferred
