Facility Housekeeper Role:

U-Haul is seeking a detail-oriented Facility Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our storage facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide thorough cleaning services for storage units, hallways, restrooms, and elevator areas.
  • Dispose of trash and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Monitor and manage cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
