Job Description

Arrowmark LLC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to promote a culture of safety within our organization. The ideal candidate will assist in administering job site safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, provide administrative support, and assist with training employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the Company's safety vision and values with team members to ensure understanding, compliance, and acceptance of the Company's safety programs and policies.
  • Assist with preparing, compiling, and tracking safety training, safety certificates, accident and injury data, and other safety records.
  • Conduct various safety training as necessary.
  • Assist the Safety Manager with investigations, audits, OSHA compliance, and adherence with other local, state, and federal regulations as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safety & health training meets the needs of the company and regulating entities so team members have the safety training to safely perform tasks and jobs.
  • Assist the Safety Manager in reporting and managing safety-related claims.
  • Assist with safety incentive programs and rewards.
  • Manage return to work/restricted duty program.
  • Assist and participate in the company Safety Committee.
  • Support and follow all Safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • OSHA 30 and First Aid - CPR required.
  • OSHA 510 preferred.
  • Must have a valid AZ Driver License and acceptable MVR.
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction industry safety management.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction related OSHA, federal, state, and local regulatory standards, and apply them to conditions at job site.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must have strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills a must.
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office products necessary.
  • This is a safety sensitive position. Must pass drug screen, physical, background check, and MVR check.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, bend, carry, push, type, and drive for long periods of time, talk, hear, see, lift up to 50lbs.
  • Extensive travel by vehicle.
  • Work is conducted in both indoor office settings, and outdoor constructions jobsite settings.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
  • Noise level varies based on location.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required.
