Position Summary

The Assessment Clinician will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments for patient admissions, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary treatment and support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a clinical field, such as counseling or social work, and have experience in assessment and treatment planning. They will be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience. The Assessment Clinician will be working in a fast-paced environment, often with limited resources, and must be able to adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including interviews and observations
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, groups, and families
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality measurement activities
