About the Role:

The Psychiatric Tech is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with psychiatric needs. As a Psychiatric Tech, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure the highest level of care and support for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the care of psychiatric patients, including those with behavioral health and substance abuse needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • One year of relevant experience, preferred.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions, required.
  • CNAI in NC, preferred.
