Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Siouxland Concrete Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues with our vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure our vehicles and equipment are running efficiently.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two to three years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field preferred.
  • Must have own tools and be willing to obtain certifications in AC, brake, and annual inspection.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
