Job Overview

Anthromed Education is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program. This position involves working with a diverse caseload of 27 students, aged 3-11, across three school buildings.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per yearJob Responsibilities:
  • Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to students on your caseload.
  • PBIS Teamwork: Participate actively in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports teams.
  • Confidential Spaces: Utilize designated confidential spaces at each site for all social work sessions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a BCBA and a colleague who supports middle and high school students.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development, including learning sign language.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • A valid Illinois Professional Educator License
  • Experience or familiarity with working with Deaf and hard-of-hearing students is preferred
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and support a diverse student population
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn sign language and take classes
  • An IDFPR License
