Job Overview

As the Director of Talent Acquisition at THE KENAN ADVANTAGE GROUP, you will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This includes developing and implementing recruitment strategies to ensure all positions are filled in an efficient and cost-effective manner. With a nationwide network, you will lead the entire recruiting team, ensuring that we attract, engage, and onboard top-tier talent to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the recruiting team to meet hiring goals, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing social media outreach
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates and optimize the recruitment processes
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborating with external recruitment agencies
  • Analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead the development and enhancement of our HRIS systems related to recruiting
  • Work with senior leadership to identify current and future hiring needs
  • Network through industry contacts
  • Recruiting lead for M&A activity and consolidations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of staffing/recruiting leadership experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies that yield high conversion rates
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive recruitment decisions
  • Strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and FCRA compliance, with familiarity in ATS/HRIS systems like Tenstreet and Paycom
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
