Job Title: Assembler I

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembler I to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Assembler I to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling parts, inspecting own work, and completing required training in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble parts and inspect own work as instructed
  • Collect required materials from bins and set up workstations per work instruction
  • Read and understand work instructions, and learn new work instructions as required
  • Complete required training in a timely manner
  • Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested
  • Perform equipment maintenance and calibration as required in work instructions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Ability to understand verbal work instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a repeated basis
  • Close vision, color vision, and depth perception
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • Ability to read/write/communicate in English language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IPC soldering certification
