Job Title: Director of Operations

This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of City Wide's building-maintenance solutions. The successful candidate will lead a team of Facility Services Managers and manage relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of Facility Service Managers to support clients.
  • Achieve annual revenues and profits, manage expenses, and meet/exceed financial management goals.
  • Identify, hire, and train operational employees, including Facility Service Managers and Night Managers.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships and achieve client retention above 90%.
  • Ensure Independent Contractors are compliant with requirements to service City Wide clients.
  • Participate in new client starts and ensure building inspections are completed.
  • Responsible for people development, including 60-day reviews, Level 5 meetings, and annual reviews.
  • Work in the field with Facility Service Managers and participate as backfill as needed.
  • Travel within the market, up to 50%.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or work equivalent.
  • 7+ years management experience with operations and account management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relation Management (CRM).
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and employees.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence others.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively coach and lead others.
  • Prior custodial, sanitation, and/or building maintenance experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience working with Independent Contractors.
