Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, and c-arm procedures. You will work closely with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.

  • Competently perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for radiologic examinations.
  • Identify patient information and label images accurately.
  • Process images and ensure quality of radiographs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
