Salary

The estimated hourly salary for this role ranges from $70 to $95 per hour, depending on the candidate's education, background, and experience levels.

Job Description

This part-time position involves working as a subject matter expert (SME) in a variety of technical areas, including agile and open software development, electronic warfare, cybersecurity, data sciences, space systems, RF systems, and model-based engineering. As an SME, you will provide expert support to our operations program teams and government customers, serve as a foundation for our organization's technical advisory to senior leaders, maintain our expertise and tech base, and provide professional development and mentorship opportunities for our workforce.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess at least 15 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field or 13 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in a related field. You should have expert-level knowledge and breadth of applied experience in your related fields to be considered a subject matter expert. Additionally, you should demonstrate qualities inherent with technical leadership experience, such as the ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations to meet requirements and objectives within available resources.
