Maintenance Coordinator/Inspector Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator/Inspector to join our team at Milestone Property Management.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position responsible for coordinating and performing maintenance activities, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance and property management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform annual unit and property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct pre-move-in and move-out inspections to identify any issues or damage.
  • Review required vs optional repairs with supervisors and provide recommendations.
  • Record, track, and update inspections in property management software database.
  • Create reports and work orders, including photographs of the work performed.
  • Perform minor repairs as needed, such as changing locks, smoke detectors, etc.
  • Assist with special projects as required.
  • Participate in a standby emergency schedule for after-hours coverage.
  • Routine inventory and inspection of property equipment.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in the property management industry.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and industry software (AppFolio knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficient with cell phone technology.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
