Optometric Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Receptionist/Technician to join our team at El Paso Optical Center. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, answering phones, and performing administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal skills in English and Spanish, excellent computer skills, and a friendly and compassionate demeanor. If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual who is dedicated to maintaining confidentiality of patient records, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, vendors, and other visitors to our office
- Have necessary paperwork filled out by patients, scanning or uploading into patient's chart in our system
- Answer phones and schedule appointments using Officemate (our medical software)
- Respond to emails and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in an optometry/ophthalmology practice preferred but not necessary
- Training will be provided for all aspects of the position
