Millwright - Industrial Equipment Mechanic

Winston Plywood & Veneer is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
- Install, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment according to layout plans and blueprints
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install equipment
- Align machinery and equipment using hoists, jacks, and other equipment
- Operate engine lather or milling machine to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Direct workers engaged in the hoisting of machinery and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math and English skills
- Previous work-related skill, knowledge, and/or experience
- Driver's license required
