Obstetrics Anesthesiology Specialist

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Dignity Health Medical Group in Arizona, you will deliver high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgery and other procedures. With your expertise, you will ensure that these individuals receive exceptional care when they are most vulnerable.
You will be responsible for answering questions about procedures and recovery, performing patient assessments, preparing anesthetic for patients, monitoring patients' vitals during surgery, and overseeing patient recovery. Additionally, you will participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives for patient care, work within a multidisciplinary team, and perform additional duties as assigned by clinical or operational leadership.
To excel in this role, you must possess the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Dignity Health Medical Group is a leading provider of medical services in Arizona, employing approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff across various specialties. Responsibilities- Anesthesia Services: Provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgery and other procedures, ensuring they receive exceptional care when they are most vulnerable.
- OB Coverage: Include high-risk OB cases, managing approximately 4500 cases per year.
- Airway Management: Assist in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Anesthetic Management: Manage patients undergoing surgical procedures and/or providing labor pain management.
- Monitor Patient Vitals: Monitor patients' vitals during surgery and oversee patient recovery.
- OB Coverage: Include high-risk OB cases, managing approximately 4500 cases per year.
- Patient Care: Answer questions about procedures and recovery, perform patient assessments, prepare anesthetic for patients, monitor patients' vitals during surgery, and oversee patient recovery.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives for patient care.
- Teamwork: Work within a multidisciplinary team and perform additional duties as assigned by clinical or operational leadership.
This esteemed position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). A Master of Medical Science in Anesthesiology is preferred. You must also hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing and certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Experience as a CRNA in OB is highly valued, with a minimum of two years of experience preferred.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120.00 - $120.00 per hour.
