Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve business objectives and improve pharmacy performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team, including performance management, training, and development.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions, insurance claims, and other pharmacy-related tasks.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Previous experience with Walgreens, with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
