We invite you to join our Psychiatry team as a Clinical Psychologist at Garnet Health Doctors. As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you'll be responsible for developing psychological programs in the department, providing input and maintaining close contact with all disciplines of the psychiatric team.
Your services will include psychological assessments, psychotherapy, family education and therapy, support groups, behavioral management, in-service education, and crisis intervention. You'll design and implement programs to meet the psychosocial needs of the psychiatric population, working in cooperation with all disciplines, nursing staff, physicians, and consultants.
Garnet Health System provides competitive compensation to attract and retain top talent. The estimated salary for this role is $116,300 per annum, based on national averages and market conditions. Please note that salaries may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Doctoral Degree in Psychology with specialized training in Clinical Psychology. Experience working with psychiatric populations is also essential. You must hold a valid New York License and certification in Infection Control. Additionally, you'll need to demonstrate physical and mental abilities to perform tasks related to the job, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
