Medical Telemetry RN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Medical Telemetry Unit at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Medical Telemetry RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other patient data to identify potential complications and take appropriate action.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical telemetry.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical telemetry setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
