Nurse Care Specialist

Avera is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient-focused team. As a RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform professional nursing functions, utilizing the nursing process to provide total nursing care to patients.
Coordinate care in an interdisciplinary manner and be responsible for the outcome of nursing care delivered.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.

Requirements:
Graduation from a two-year associate degree program, three-year diploma program or four-year baccalaureate degree program, successful completion of State Board Exams.
Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
Membership in a professional organization is preferred.
CPR certification.
Work Schedule:
Day shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks.
6:30 am – 7:00 pm.
Every 3rd weekend.
Every 3rd holiday.
