Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $24,960 - $31,200 based on 20 hours of work per week at $12/hour to $15/hour.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Coding Instructor to join our team as a Youth Education Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in coding or related field. As a Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for:

• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students
• Developing and delivering coding lessons and activities tailored to meet the needs of our students
• Providing feedback and support to parents and guardians on their child's progress
• Assisting with day-to-day operations of the center, including opening and closing duties
• Reporting to the Center Director on a regular basis to discuss progress and challenges

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children ages 7-14
• Some background in coding or related field (degree not required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
