A background in sales, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or long-term care is an asset.
Responsibilities- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices.
- Coordinate patient admissions, including obtaining required documentation.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
- Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
- Meet short and long-term target account goals.
- Document sales calls and maintain a record of targeted referral sources.
- Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development or outreach role.
- Current RN or LPN license, specific to the state(s) assigned to work.
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
- Attractive pay, ranging from $70,000 to $75,000.
- A full benefits package, including a choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans.
- Paid time off.
- Up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly, when enrolled in an Amedisys HSA medical plan.
- Up to $500 in wellness rewards for completing activities during the year.
