Inventory Management Coordinator

A fulfilling role awaits an ambitious professional to join the team at Walgreens as an Inventory Specialist. With a comprehensive understanding of inventory management, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate records and implementing effective strategies to optimize store operations.
Salary Estimate: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and accuracy of on-hand quantities in pharmacy and complete pharmacy smart counts.
- Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries.
- Supports keeping all counters and shelves clean and well merchandised.
- Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the proper use of reports and system applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- One year of prior retail work experience with knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
- Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Familiarity with pharmacy and front-end inventory management practices.
