Sales Development Representative

iXsystems is a leading provider of innovative data storage solutions, and we're seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying, engaging, and nurturing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound inquiries and generate new business opportunities through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and purchase timeline through detailed discovery calls.
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and business operations teams to pass qualified leads and schedule meetings.
- Keep accurate records of all sales activities and interactions in CRM software.
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role in the technology industry.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ability to be both self-reliant and a team player.
- Background in Storage Industry or Open Source Technologies a plus.
