Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Kohler Co.'s Wisconsin Distribution Center. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a crucial role in the management of finished good storage to optimize warehouse flow and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the WIDC leadership team to understand current state building flow vs. desired state.
  • Research current automation and storage strategies to understand physical constraints of equipment.
  • Partner with the Warehouse Management Team to understand systematic limitations of the warehouse management system.
  • Conduct analysis on pick data to understand optimal storage for picking eaches, cases, and pallets by product category.
  • Create and maintain reporting to provide slotting recommendations monthly.
  • Conduct weekly inventory analysis to identify discrepancies and solve problems.
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Generate cycle counts for inventory team.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies by monitoring PO receipts.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with inventory management, slotting, or similar role in a distribution center or similar environment.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive process and quality improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, drive change, and lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and take action in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with individuals and groups at all levels within Kohler.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve, drive change, and lead through influence and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and procedures.
  • 1-3 years' experience in data analysis and/or inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related technical or quantitative field preferred, Associate's degree required.
  • SAP & Blue Yonder experience preferred.
