Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing. The successful candidate will provide exceptional nursing services at a special education school in Utah, promoting the health and well-being of students with hearing and visual impairments.

Responsibilities:
  • Ride with students to school
  • Check equipment and supplies before departure to ensure all provisions are available for students' needs during the day
  • For students with trachs, suction trachs as often as necessary to maintain students' airways
  • Monitor students' medical conditions and intervene appropriately
  • Assist students to participate in curriculum activities determined by classroom teachers
  • Where necessary, feed students by bolus or feeding pump
  • Administer medications at the appropriate time, route, and dosage as determined by students' physicians
