Job Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and spontaneous maintenance on various equipment, including conveyors, electrical motors, material handling equipment, skill saws, propane torch, man-lift, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, grinders, electrical test equipment, and ladders.
  • Conduct general building maintenance tasks, such as overhead door repairs, construction repair, roll cart maintenance, floor repair, and second-level gate upkeep.
  • Carry out light plumbing maintenance and carpentry assignments as needed.
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics, including electrical diagrams.
  • Capacity to use vendor manuals and procedures for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Capability to operate powered material handling equipment, such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of related experience preferred.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
  • Able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shifts; overtime will be required based on business needs.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70-100 pounds.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
