Job Summary:

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional table service to patrons by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greets guests, ensures the table is clean, and provides utensils and other needs.
  • Distributes menus and presents daily specials.
  • Answers questions about the menu.
  • Takes orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
  • Delivers food, beverages, and other items to guests.
  • Ensures food is prepared correctly and to guests' satisfaction.
  • Collects plates and clears tables as customers finish their meals.
  • Prepares guest checks and collects payments.
  • Assists with cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to listen and follow directions.
  • Well-organized with ability to take and place orders accurately.
  • Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines.
  • Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.

Education & Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Previous experience as a server is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
