Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

  • Develop and lead engaging physical therapy sessions to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with patients, family members, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Assist physical therapists in direct patient care, adhering to established plans of care and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the State of Texas.
  • Proficiency in computer software used for documentation and report preparation.
  • An Associate degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and patient privacy laws.
  • Experience working with sensitive patient information and confidential documents.
  • Strong physical endurance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
