We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Community Connections Inc. in Yarmouth, MA.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse on our relief team, you will provide exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities, working closely with our community health team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and document consumer medications
- Participate in individual case record reviews with the program team
- Conduct regular medication reviews and monitor vital signs and weights
- Communicate with physicians, family members, and healthcare professionals as needed
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Fully licensed with the Massachusetts Nursing Board
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- 1+ year's experience in a community health setting
- 1+ year's experience in a training program for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license, access to a motor vehicle, and satisfactory driving record
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer and word processing skills
