Overview:
We are in search of a committed Orthotic Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role involves the assessment and custom fitting of orthopedic devices to enhance patient mobility and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their needs for orthotic solutions.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Select appropriate materials and perform precise measurements for device fabrication.
  • Ensure optimal fitting of orthotic devices, including adjustments for both static and dynamic alignment.
  • Educate patients on the proper use and maintenance of their orthotic devices.
  • Address any concerns or complications that may arise post-fitting to guarantee patient satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up care, maintaining communication with medical professionals.
  • Facilitate training sessions for healthcare staff on orthotic practices and innovations.
  • Manage resources effectively to uphold high standards of care while considering cost efficiency.
  • Engage with physicians and case managers to foster relationships that encourage referrals.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics or a Bachelor's degree with relevant apprenticeship experience.
  • Current certification in Orthotics from recognized boards.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in orthotic assessment, design, and patient interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Dedication to maintaining exceptional standards of professionalism and patient service.
