Sleep Technology Student Assistant

At Children's of Alabama, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sleep Technology Student Assistant to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a student pursuing a career in polysomnography to gain hands-on experience in the field.
About the RoleThis role will provide the successful candidate with the chance to assist experienced sleep technologists in the provision of care to patients and their families. Under the direct clinical supervision of a registered sleep polysomnographer, you will perform specified limited sleep technology procedures and develop your skills in this field.
As a Sleep Technology Student Assistant, you will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care possible. Your duties will include assisting with the setup and operation of sleep studies, collecting data, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited polysomnographic technologist program or ASTEP
- Completed first semester in the program
- Basic Life Support certification required
We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience, build your professional network, and contribute to the well-being of children and families in our community.
