Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Fulton County Schools. In this role, you will work under the close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in both classroom and home settings. The primary responsibility of the Behavior Intervention Specialist is to implement behavior-analytic services directly. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as the ability to obtain the Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate and RBT certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Behavior Interventionist in preparing educational materials and data collection tools.
  • Collaborate with the Behavior Interventionist to conduct behavior reduction assessments and skill acquisition plans.
  • Participate in social skills instruction and support students in small groups.
  • Implement students' Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as assigned by the Behavior Interventionist.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain the Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate and RBT certification.
  • 0-1 year of experience working with children preferred.
Salary:$45,000 - $55,000 per year.
