Perinatology Program Director

Leadership Role in Perinatology Services
As the Perinatology Program Director at Lancaster General Hospital, you will work closely with the Medical Director to lead and supervise Perinatology Services. This role requires guiding nurses and clinicians to deliver high-quality services to patients with high-risk pregnancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and staff perinatology services with genetic services and counseling.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and procedures in perinatal medicine.
- Provide consultation services to physicians and resident physicians.
- Collaborate with departments to assess and address performance problems.
- Advise administration on perinatal issues and concerns.
- Provide educational services for medical staff and hospital.
- Provide clinical supervision to non-physician staff.
- Provide direct patient care services.
- Participate in research and scholarly activities.
Requirements:
- Must have an M.D. or D.O. with a license to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, and sub-specialty certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Must have completion of an OB-GYN residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship.
- Must be a healthcare provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs.
