Dietary Technician

As a Nutrition Center Technician at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional care to patients. Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will collaborate with pediatric dietitians to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver infant and pediatric formula, and breast milk preparations in accordance with sanitary regulations and standards.
- Participate in peer reviews, self-assessment, and continuing education to maintain and improve competency.
- Individualize patient care using age-related concepts, applying knowledge of growth and development, safety needs, and nutritional care requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Act as a liaison between Food and Nutrition Services and assigned nursing units, fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Registration with the American Dietetic Association as a dietetic technician or eligibility for registration.
- Experience working with pediatric populations and in acute care settings.
