Job Description

The Provider Relations Specialist II serves as a liaison between Ameritas and internal and external partners. This role involves developing and strengthening customer relationships by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries and conducting analysis to solve problems under limited supervision.

  • Develop and interpret provider contracts
  • Provide quality customer service through daily contact with providers
  • Maintain contract knowledge of all networks
  • Responsible for credentialing and re-credentialing of network providers
  • Partner with Provider Network Representatives to expand our growing network
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree preferred
  • 2-4 years related experience required
  • Previous experience in a Group provider relations role highly preferred
