Job Title: Account Executive - New Business DevelopmentWe're seeking a passionate individual to join our team as an Account Executive - New Business Development. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Drive lead generation activities to identify potential clients and opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with client C-Suite and Leadership stakeholders to understand hiring needs and propose tailored recruitment solutions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop strategies that leverage the strength and knowledge of the team to provide value-added services successfully and within the project timeline.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition.
- Provide exceptional customer service, fostering long-term relationships built on trust, results, and professionalism.
As an Account Executive - New Business Development, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing business development strategies to drive new business growth.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to provide expert advice to clients.
We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a proven track record in professional service B2B outside sales. If you're passionate about business development and have a strong desire to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Communications, Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Journalism, Marketing/Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience selling customized, high-value professional services in the B2B corporate ecosystem.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets of $600K to $1M.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team to achieve outstanding results.
- Base salary of $60,000 - $80,000, with uncapped tiered commissions.
- Mileage reimbursement and approved business expenses.
- 15 days of accrual-based annual PTO, 11 paid holidays, and adhere to WA state sick and safe time requirements.
- Flexible work schedules and hybrid work options.
- Medical, dental, vision, and 401K are offered for employees and qualified dependents.
- Sitting: Frequent sitting is required for extended periods while working from a home office, making phone calls, conducting virtual meetings, or completing computer-based tasks.
- Standing and Walking: Moderate standing and walking are required during client visits, networking events, presentations, or in-person meetings.
- Driving: Frequent driving is required to meet clients and attend events.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting and carrying of items such as laptops, presentation materials, and marketing collateral (up to 15 pounds) may be required during travel or in-person meetings.
- Hand and Finger Dexterity: Frequent use of hands for typing, operating a computer, using office equipment, handling documents, and managing communications (emails, phone calls, etc.).
- Hearing and Speaking: Clear, effective verbal communication is required for client presentations, meetings, phone conversations, and virtual discussions. Active listening skills are also essential.
- Visual Acuity: Regular use of close vision to read documents, emails, and presentations, as well as long-distance vision for driving and in-person interactions.
- Traveling: Regular local and regional travel is required to meet clients and attend networking events. Occasional overnight travel may be needed based on client locations or event schedules.
- Mental and Emotional Resilience: Managing stress, handling rejection, and staying motivated during challenging sales cycles are essential for success in this role. Maintaining focus under pressure and adapting to changing client needs are also crucial.
