Food Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Specialist to join our team at Healthy as a Motha LLC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products that meet our strict quality standards.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

• Prepare food products to specifications before and during unit operations.
• Properly measure, portion, and prepare all food items, adhering to quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
• Retrieve from storage areas all necessary items for preparation.
• Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Label, date, and wrap food products, following ServSafe procedures.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
• Follow and uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Communicate with the chef for any special instructions or training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior food preparation experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.
• Ability to communicate and perform as part of a team.
• Ability to memorize and replicate recipe/menu item production procedures.
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Frequent standing and/or walking throughout the shift. Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip various foods and liquids. Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders. Ability to lift.
