Job Summary:

Beacon Hill is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide high-level administrative support to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research, handling information requests, and performing various clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Direct Visitors: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for clients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression of our company.
  • Provide Information and Answer Calls: Respond to phone calls and console switchboard inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Receive and Send Packages: Manage the receipt and dispatch of packages via couriers, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Maintain Visitor Log and Call Record: Accurately record visitor information and call details, maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Perform Clerical Functions: Provide administrative support, including typing, filing, photocopying, binding books, and preparing mailers.
  • Maintain Boardroom Schedule and Equipment: Ensure the boardroom is well-maintained, and schedules are up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Multi-Tasking and Time Management: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Customer Service Skills and Interpersonal Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Computer Applications: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Compensation:

$19/hour
