About Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled OB/GYN Physician to join our team at Northwestern Medical Center. As a leading community hospital, we prioritize exceptional patient care and strive to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Saint Albans, Vermont.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, an exceptional bedside manner, and a passion for delivering obstetric and gynecologic care. They will be responsible for providing primary and specialty medical services to patients, adhering to established standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including performing deliveries in our hospital.
  • Collaborate with experienced Labor and Delivery nurses to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain clinical excellence and uphold patient safety standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations (1:4) and scheduled clinic sessions (3 days in clinic, 1 day in OR).
  • Contribute to prenatal education initiatives and innovative approaches to obstetrical services.
Requirements
  • Valid Vermont medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and excellent patient experiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per yearBenefits
