Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $113,000 to $149,000 annually. We offer a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.

Job Description

Overview: As the Director of Hotel Sales, you will be responsible for leading the sales department and driving revenue growth for our hotel properties. You will develop and implement sales strategies, build strong relationships with clients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporate and individual customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, revenue management, and operations, to drive business growth
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, including bookings and revenue
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree
  • Demonstrated skills in supervising a team
  • Lodging sales experience
  • Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
