Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Environmental Qualification Responsible Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental qualification of our systems meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental qualification requirements for our systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct environmental qualification testing and analysis to ensure system performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited university
  • 5 years of related professional experience in engineering
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with environmental qualification standards and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a STEM field from an accredited university
  • Experience with avionics thermal and/or vibration analysis
  • Knowledge of governing standards such as MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160
