Job Summary

eTeam Inc is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Med Surg professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including executing physician orders, administering medications, and assisting with examinations and treatments.
  • Apply nursing and supervisory techniques to ensure the care, treatment, and referrals of patients are of the highest standard.
  • Perform technical and clinical procedures within the scope of your education and licensure.
  • Operate pill call, dispense medication, and document as required by applicable policies and procedures.
  • Call physicians for medication and treatment orders, and/or other emergencies.
  • Examine and assess new patients with illnesses or injuries, or patients who become ill or injured, and refer them to the emergency room or other appropriate healthcare facility as required.
  • Perform emergency procedures as needed and notify physicians for treatment orders.
  • Assist in coordinating professional medical services provided by contract personnel and ensuring their needs are addressed.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure and certification in Med Surg.
  • Experience in a travel nursing role or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and physically check doors, windows, and other areas to verify they are secure.
  • Basic life support certification.
