Nuer Language Specialist for Medical Interpretation

Rapport International is seeking a highly skilled Nuer language specialist to provide in-person interpretation services for our clients in the Lincoln area.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced interpreter who can effectively communicate with our clients and provide high-quality interpretation services. As a Nuer language specialist, you will work closely with our team to ensure that all interpretation services meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person interpretation services for medical facilities in the Lincoln area
- Work independently as an independent contractor, providing flexible hours based on availability and client needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Meet strict requirements for confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance and technical skills for learning/using online portal
Requirements:
- Fully bilingual in Nuer and English
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to travel locally and have access to transportation
- Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
- Background checks and drug screens required
Salary Range:
