Job Summary

As a Fabrication Data Coordinator at Builders FirstSource, you will be responsible for converting engineering data into shop fabrication data to communicate to the production line what needs to be manufactured. This role involves performing all administrative duties required to release a job into the shop, creating applicable cut lists, bunking lists, fabrication drawings, and electronic files necessary to operate the shop floor and computerized manufacturing equipment. You will also create job folders, generate shop drawings by work center, batch jobs, and create cutting reports. Additionally, you will simultaneously create automated saw files and projection fabrication files, release jobs to the production team, and update scheduling status. You will also edit work orders in On-Line Software for shop labor totals.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 18 months of truss fabrication experience.
