Gastroenterology Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Specialist to provide call-only coverage in Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Gastroenterology Specialist, covering ongoing weekend ED call and acute IP unassigned consults. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless patient care and make a meaningful impact on our patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide call-only coverage for Gastroenterology-related cases
• Conduct urgent and emergent GI procedures as required
• Work collaboratively with support staff within hospital procedure rooms and on acute care units
• Ensure efficient and effective patient flow between hospitals

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology or related specialty
• Excellent clinical skills and strong communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
