Job Summary

The Installation Specialist - Low Voltage Systems is responsible for the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems, including fire alarm, access control, CCTV, nurse call, and security systems. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install low voltage systems while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Accurately complete documentation in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot systems to identify problems and recommend solutions
  • Communicate effectively with customers and project management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate efforts of other technicians assigned to a project
  • Attend scheduled technician meetings

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of industry experience (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and parts manuals
  • Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to regularly carry and climb a 6' or taller ladder
  • Ability to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements (required)
  • Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and ability to communicate with customers at all levels

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
