Mechanical Engineer

Actalent is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead continuous improvement projects within manufacturing and the warehouse facility. As a key member of our team, you will maintain a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing processes and equipment, work with department supervisors and their teams to establish or adjust work procedures, suggest changes in working conditions and the use of equipment to increase efficiency, and analyze and resolve work problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department supervisors and teams to establish or adjust work procedures
Suggest changes in working conditions and the use of equipment to increase efficiency
Analyze and resolve work problems
Assist production employees in solving work problems by applying technical expertise
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering is required
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile
Experience with CNC machinery, programming experience is highly valuable
SolidWorks experience
Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word & Outlook
Strong technical aptitude
Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
Blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Problem-solving
Decision-making skills
